ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

Environment will not integral to human life , because human life in its environment . Surrounding environment will provide support for human life . Therefore , we as human beings must always protecting the environment to support human life .
Ways to protect the environment is to provide environmental education to the public . The definition of environmental education is a process that aims to create a global community with a concern for the environment and related issues in it as well as having the knowledge , motivation , commitment and skills to work both individually and collectively in the search for an alternative or provide a solution the environmental problems that exist now and to avoid environmental problems are new .
Environmental education directed to aspects of students' attitudes and behavior of students to understand the importance of the environment for life and how to love and protect the environment so that it becomes embedded in their daily lives . With the Environmental Education is taught , it is expected to encourage and provide opportunities for people to acquire the knowledge , skills and attitudes that can foster awareness , commitment to protect and improve the environment and utilize wisely , also can create new patterns of behavior that is friendly to environment and are able to develop environmental ethics .

 Current environmental quality is bad is different from the environment in previous times . This is a result of increased pertambahn population and rapid technological development . Pollution is everywhere and makes people worried about the state of the environment . Looking at environmental problems occurring today's rapidly evolving and complex , the Environmental Education is expected to contribute to the quality of the environment better . Keep in mind once again that the environment and human interdependence , need each other . So , people have to start from now to more wisely manage the environment so that in the future our children can feel good environmental quality .
