Purpose Of Education

The purpose of education is the end result of the process of education itself . And must be reached by all types of formal, non-formal and informal . According to Law No. 23 of 2003 on National Education System of Indonesia, the definition of education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create atmosphere in learning and the learning process so that learners are actively developing the potential for him to have a spiritual keuatan religious , self-control , personality , intelligence , noble character and skills required dirinua and society .
Many educational objectives put forth in several legal provisions that apply or have been applied in Indonesia as follows :

- Act 1945 ( amended version ) , Article 31, paragraph 3 : the government establish and conduct a national education system , which increases the faith and piety and good values ​​in the context of the intellectual life of the nation is governed by laws .
- Act 1945 ( amended version ) , chapter 31, verse 5 : government to advance science and technology to support high religious values ​​and national unity for the progress of civilization and human welfare .
- Elaboration of the 1945 Constitution of education outlined in the Constitution Act No. 20 of 2003 Article 3 which states working to develop the capacity of national education and character development and civilization of the nation's dignity in the context of the intellectual life of the nation , aimed at developing the potential of students to become a man of faith and fear of God Almighty , noble , healthy , knowledgeable, skilled , creative , independent , and become citizens of a democratic and accountable .
